I was lucky enough to grow up in Northwest Oregon along the Columbia River. Every weekend was spent either riding on two wheels or fixing something with two wheels. The fixing part led me to pursue becoming an engineer and I acquired my Energy System Engineering Degree at OSU Cascades in Bend, OR.
When a job opportunity to work as an engineer for Kreft Moto and CushCore came up, I pulled every string I had to get an interview. Somehow, I convinced the owner I could put my two-wheel passion to work. I’ve had the pleasure of contributing here ever since. I can honestly say that at any other job I’d be thinking about my dirt bike and mountain bike anyway, but at Kreft Moto and CushCore instead of it being a problem, it’s considered progress.
FAVORITE type of riding:
Flowing, yet not fast terrain with technical moves but not plowing through rocks.
